Often, we face times when we didn’t take action and wished we had. There’s a lingering anxiety that comes with stepping into the unknown, even if we trust the process.
As we climb the ladder of life, we may miss a step or skip one altogether. Both can be blessings or misfortunes.
At times, we might wish for a delay in making certain decisions (steps missed) or regret taking actions too quickly.
These scenarios arise when we reflect on the actions we could have taken—whether to delay or act swiftly to avoid danger or seize an opportunity. It’s worth pondering.
Every day, we navigate life surrounded by risks. However, we cannot shy away from planting seeds simply because we fear a storm. Risk is inherent in life, whether calculated or not. So, we must continue moving forward.
Different decisions present various shades of risk. Some exhibit the audacity to act boldly in the face of danger, while others show determination to stay steadfast amid despair.
There are those who choose to remain, even when everything seems to crumble—sometimes even in unfamiliar territories. It’s akin to being stranded in a desert but clinging to life.
Then, there are individuals who disregard the potential outcomes of their choices. For them, merely taking a step is an achievement, regardless of the result.
At times, choosing to retreat or forge ahead can be perplexing, leaving us in a maze of options.
If you can hear a guiding voice that suggests whether to move left or right, that’s prudent. Yet, we often lack such clarity in discernment and conviction.
Here, it seems we frequently have to gamble when choosing one path over another, accepting the associated risks. And that’s perfectly fine.
For many, faith and hope serve as their anchors during dark times. This is entirely valid.
My dear, whatever empowers us to take action, let’s embrace it. Why is that?
It is better to have a reason for failure than to fail in life by doing nothing.
Life is an adventure filled with risks, and it takes courage to keep the world moving. We cannot afford to sacrifice acts of bravery on the altar of fear.
Let us join the ranks of risk-takers and explore what can benefit the world. Risk can help alleviate anxiety. So, we move forward!
