History has revealed women who demonstrated immense strength, power, and dignity. At times, they defied all odds; at other times, they showcased their inner qualities to confront adversities and inspire change.

Like Queen Esther, who defied the order not to go before the king, and Jochebed, who courageously hid her infant despite Pharaoh’s decree to eliminate all baby boys.

Margaret Thatcher, also known as the “Iron Lady,” became the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and helped shape British politics despite facing numerous economic challenges during her tenure.

Ghana has elected its first female vice president following the December 7th elections. The hopes are high as we anticipate the resurgence of this beautiful country after eight years of social and economic challenges.

Some of us patiently wait to experience the qualities of an earth mother and the first female vice president of Ghana: a display of a woman’s strength, backed by the desire to serve her children.

Nothing stops a woman of desire, nothing stops a woman of strength, and nothing stops a woman of dignity. A woman is equipped with everything she needs to succeed, and it is an inherent gift that can shatter mountains.

There have been heroines in the past, there are heroines in the present, and there will always be heroines in the future. Every woman is a heroine to those who recognize it and help make it happen, demonstrating strength as small as a mustard seed.
